These terms apply when you use the Scoutable apps and services provided by Baobab Tree AB, org. nr 559518-7997, Valutavägen 18, 129 34 Hägersten, Sweden (“Scoutable”, “we”). By creating an account you accept these terms. If you use Scoutable on behalf of a club or organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept them for that organization.
The service
Scoutable is a basketball video-analysis tool. The desktop app turns game video and official league play-by-play data into named, timestamped clips that you can filter, tag, arrange into playlists, export, and share with teams and players, who watch on the web and mobile apps. Video processing happens locally on your machine; clips are uploaded only when you explicitly share or export them.
Accounts
You need an account to use Scoutable. Keep your credentials secure — you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old; players younger than that may only be invited through a club that has obtained the necessary guardian consents.
Plans, prices and payment
- Free — includes 3 game imports. No payment details required.
- Rookie and Pro — paid subscriptions billed monthly or annually through Stripe, with a 14-day free trial. Prices are shown at scoutable.se in SEK including VAT.
- Franchise — club licenses under a separate agreement; contact hello@scoutable.se.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime via the billing portal (Profile → Manage subscription); cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. If a renewal payment fails and is not resolved, your plan reverts to Free. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal.
Right of withdrawal
As a consumer in the EU you have a 14-day right of withdrawal (ångerrätt) when buying online. The 14-day free trial means you can always try the service and cancel at no cost before any payment. By starting a subscription you consent to the service being provided immediately; if you withdraw within 14 days of a payment, we refund the amount less a proportional charge for the time already used. Your content and footage rights
You keep all rights to the video you import and the playlists you create. You are responsible for having the right to use the footage you import and share — including any league or broadcast restrictions and, for footage of minors, any consents your club or context requires. You grant us the limited license needed to store and stream the clips you choose to share, to the people you share them with. Public highlight links expire after 30 days.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Scoutable to infringe others’ rights, redistribute footage you lack rights to, attempt to access other users’ data, resell the service, or interfere with its operation. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Our property
The Scoutable software, brand, and design are our property. Your subscription gives you a personal (or, for Franchise, organizational), non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. League game data is provided by the respective leagues’ official feeds and may not be extracted for other purposes.
Availability and liability
We work hard to keep Scoutable available and your data safe, but the service is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory rights as a consumer under Swedish law.
Termination
You can stop using Scoutable and delete your account at any time in the app. We may terminate accounts that materially breach these terms, and will give reasonable notice by email if we discontinue the service, with time to export your content.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.
Law and disputes
Swedish law applies. Disputes are resolved by Swedish courts. As a consumer you can also turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN, arn.se) or the EU online dispute resolution platform.
